Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of their international client in the manufacturing industry is seeking
a skilled Dryend Operator to join our corrugated board production team. The Dryend
Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the dry end of the corrugator line,
ensuring high quality output, optimal machine performance, and adherence to safety and
production standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate the dry end section of the corrugator in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and maintain production target efficiency
• Ensure quality standards for board output, performing routine quality checks
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or electrical issues on the corrugator
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate with supervisors on machine
performance
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize output

Qualifications
✓ Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
✓ Prior experience as a Corrugator Operator, preferably on BHS machines
✓ Strong technical understanding of corrugator operations and board making processes
✓ Ability to read and interpret process and mechanical documentation
✓ Knowledge of paperboard grades, machine settings, and troubleshooting techniques
✓ Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
