Job Description/Requirements
We are recruiting a full-time Electrical Technician to be based in Makenji along Muruka-Kandara Road in Muranga County. The Technician will report to the Process Coordinator and will be responsible of the following duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conducting standard routine maintenance checks on all the equipment’s and machines in the factory;
• Diagnosing technical faults and making sure immediate patches of the same;
• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment’s, appliances and apparatus.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics;
• Satisfying all commercial policies and the Occupational Safety and Health guidelines (OSHA) while implementing various jobs;
• Planning routine maintenance activities in a way that the output as well as development of the plant is not hindered or interfered with;
• Maintaining a file of all repair as well as overhauling carried out on the plant equipment;Â
• Appropriately utilizing and managing all repair devices and equipment’s;
• Advising management on continued use of equipment, appliances, and apparatus;
• Ensuring that TPM objectives of the company are implemented;
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher diploma in Engineering; Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 4 years working experience (experience in a FMCG is an added advantage)
• Ability to manage own work flow and to meet deadlines while responding to frequent demands of clients (internal and external).
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing and growth-oriented environment with regularly changing priorities and developing opportunities. Excellent reporting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-driven, organized and resourceful with ability to prioritize
