The Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) is a state corporation established under the Micro and Small Enterprise Act No. 55 of . The Act was developed through a stakeholder’s consultation process which took several years. The Authority is now domiciled in the Ministry of Industry,Trade and Co-operatives

REF NO. MSEA – 7/7/ (GRADE 7) Terms: Permanent

Duties and responsibilities entails:

Implementing policies, projects and programmes in relation to Micro and Small Enterprise; Marketing Authority’s programmes; Writing proposals for funding; Implementing programmes and projects; Providing business counselling; Evaluating training programmes/exhibition events; Liaising with stakeholders on program implementation; Compiling training/exhibition reports; Coordinating regional events and programmes ; Preparing periodic and quarterly reports; Evaluating the implementation of projects and programmes relating to or affecting MSEs.

Person specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Administration, Strategic Management, Agri-Business, Marketing, Economics; Commerce, enterprise Development; Human Resource Management/Development; Art and Design or any other social science from a recognized institution; Proficiency in computer application; Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
