Role Description The EPC Contractor will oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities for assigned projects in Kajiado, ensuring delivery in line with contractual, technical, safety, and quality requirements. This on-site contract role involves coordinating design reviews, managing vendor and contractor interfaces, and supervising construction and installation activities to meet project schedules and budgets. The role includes preparing and reviewing technical documentation, tracking material procurement, monitoring site progress, and resolving technical or operational issues with project stakeholders. The EPC Contractor will work closely with Panterra Holdings’ project management teams, local authorities, and client representatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications. Responsibilities also include contributing to risk assessments, implementing HSE procedures, and providing regular status reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong EPC project management skills, including experience overseeing engineering, procurement, and construction for industrial or energy projects.
  • Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation on complex sites.
  • Solid technical background in civil, mechanical, electrical, or energy engineering, with the capability to interpret drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Experience in vendor and contractor management, including tender evaluation, contract administration, and performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices, with a proven record of enforcing site safety and compliance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical and operational problems on-site, adapt to changing conditions, and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale EPC projects in the energy or infrastructure sector, preferably in emerging markets or remote locations.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site in Kajiado for the duration of the contract
