JOB SUMMARY
Minimum Requirements3 years of experience in ground electronics maintenance, communications systems, avionics, or related technical fields.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in electronics, communications, or electrical systems preferred.Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.Passport must be valid for at least one year beyond hire date.Ability to meet and maintain contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience working in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi‑national workforce.Experience supervising technicians or leading maintenance teams.Strong understanding of electronic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance practices.Familiarity with Navy or DoD electronic systems, maintenance programs, or technical documentation.Valid driver’s license.Ability to obtain country‑specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground electronics systems, communication equipment, and associated support devices.Oversee technicians performing inspections, repairs, calibrations, and system testing in accordance with Navy and Amentum standards.Ensure proper configuration, functionality, and readiness of electronic systems supporting mission operations.Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and technical documentation.Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations related to electronic systems and equipment.Provide technical guidance, training, and performance oversight for assigned personnel.Support installation, upgrades, and integration of new electronic systems or components.
