JOB SUMMARY
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment across all customer and staff areas. This includes shop floors, offices, reception areas, restrooms, staff facilities, and any furniture or fittings. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and can consistently deliver high standards independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the shop floor, walls, doors, windows, and display areas.Ensure customer reception, waiting areas, offices, meeting rooms, and corridors are tidy and presentable.Clean and maintain staff rooms, kitchens, and changing areas.Sanitize toilets and washrooms; restock supplies as needed.Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, furniture, and equipment appropriately.Empty bins and manage basic waste segregation (general, recycling, etc.).Keep glass surfaces and display areas streak-free and visually appealing.Ensure floors are free of debris, spills, and potential trip hazards.Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly.Monitor cleaning materials and supplies; notify management when stocks are low.Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times, particularly in customer-facing areas.Perform special cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleaning and event preparation.Requirements:Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, preferably in commercial, hotel, or showroom environments.High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.Physically fit; able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed.Comfortable working in environments with vehicles and equipment.Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene procedures.Basic communication skills to understand instructions and safety information.Personal Qualities:Hardworking, self-motivated, and proactive.Honest, trustworthy, and discreet.Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment.Positive, cooperative, and willing to assist where needed.Respects confidentiality and the high-value nature of clients.
