HVAC Technician

Location: Mogadishu, Somalia

Somali Institute of Technology is seeking a highly skilled HVAC technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various brands of Air Conditions, Refrigeration and Ventilation systems. Additionally, this role will involve teaching courses to students, thus requiring the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to learners. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in electronics repair and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

1. Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in repairing various brands and types of air conditioning systems, as well as all types of refrigeration units. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.

2. Multitasking Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively, especially when working on different projects with short notice.

3. Problem-solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of HVAC and refrigeration problems and implement effective solutions.

4. Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to different working environments and conditions, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and students. Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
