Rarieda Training & Resource Centre (RTRC) is an initiative of RWMT and was registered as a Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) center in 2012, whose programs emphasize personal development, acquisition of technical skills, and income generation as pre-requisites for self-reliance and poverty alleviation in the rural area. By expanding skills and talent in rural areas, youth develop their own solutions to local problems and become positive change makers in developing the economic base of their communities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Instructor…..
- Train clients/ students in various ICT packages according to the stipulated training curricula at RTRC.
- Develop timely lesson plans and perform pre-course preparation to ensure quality training in a dynamic and exciting learning environment
- Ensure classes start and end on time.
- Assess and/or grade participants’ performance to assure achievement of minimum competencies
- Provide extra guidance to meet individual needs or learning difficulties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on participants.
- Advise students on technology tools to develop new skills, enhance their learning, and improve their businesses.
- Give feedback and ideas to the supervisor e.g. corrections/modifications or improvements to be done on the courseware
- Review customer feedback with the Supervisor and ensure appropriate corrective & preventive actions are taken

The ICT instructor is a team member participating in backup support for the entire ICT team.
As a team member, the ICT instructor will support the ICT Coordinator and ICT department
in:
- General administration of the network, computing facilities and other data and telecommunication facilities
- Performing periodic back-ups for all systems.
- Supporting staff with introduction and technical operation of computer applications.
- Administering the maintenance of new computers and telecommunications equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining electronic mail connections.
- Enforcing software and hardware security measures by restricting access to the systems to authorized persons only.
- Ensuring security protection of the LAN and servers.
- Assisting with database updates or maintenance.
Qualifications & Application Details….
At least a Diploma in Computer systems / IT, with hands on experience in training and basic troubleshooting techniques of machine software and hardware. The incumbent should have Interest to develop professional skills in ICT. Job experience: At least two (2) years relevant experience as an Instructor.
