Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interior Design Instructor with a passion for teaching and a proven track record in the creation, renovation, and decoration of spaces. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise and the ability to engage students while imparting knowledge on the unique design needs and goals for diverse spaces. Proficiency in conceptualizing designs in both 2D and 3D plans is crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Instruction:
  - Conduct engaging and informative classes on interior design principles, processes, and techniques.
  - Guide students in the practical application of design concepts, emphasizing hands-on experiences.
  - Foster a creative and collaborative learning environment.
2. Design Conceptualization:
  - Demonstrate the ability to conceptualize interior designs in both 2D and 3D plans.
  - Instruct students on effective design visualization and presentation techniques.
3. Client Collaboration:
  - Work directly with clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and vision.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
  - Collaborate with various stakeholders, including vendors, architects, contractors, etc., as necessary.
  - Facilitate real-world interactions for students with industry professionals.
5. Material Sourcing:
  - Instruct students on researching and sourcing materials relevant to interior design projects.
  - Stay updated on industry trends and materials to enhance curriculum content.
6. Project Oversight:
  - Guide students in overseeing the installation of final designs, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
- Proficient in design software and tools for both 2D and 3D visualization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
