° Diploma in agricultural irrigation & Drainage engineering.
° Experience in irrigation experience
° Ability to stand for long time.
° Problem solver with keen eye on details.
Roles & responsibilities.
° Identify system use, scheduling & maintenance.
° Identify needed repairs and recommended enhancement to reduce water waste.
° Develop irrigation schedules based on soil, climate, plant requirement & site unique conditions.
° Digging trenches and installing pipes & lines.
° Procurement of pipes, fittings & machineries.
° Keeping accurate inventory of irrigation practices.
° Effective asses water efficiency and make adjustments to quickly correct over or underwatering.
