Job Summary

Remote contracting position providing second-level technical support of technology with Medbill and her MSP client organizations. Reporting to the IT Services Manager. Medbill is a fast-growing billing services company in the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and HME (Home Medical Equipment) industry located in the United States.

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelors
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Shared responsibility for front-line helpdesk support.
  • Handle support escalations.
  • Assistance with remote computer deployments.
  • Perform desktop troubleshooting.
  • IT project planning and consulting for Medbill and her clients.
  • Install and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls and VPN.
  • SQL Database maintenance.
  • Interface with vendors for purchases and support incidents.
  • Management/Support for Azure resources.
  • Perform IT Security tasks such as SOC responses to SIEM and EDR tools.
  • Perform security hardening of servers and workstations.
  • Assist with IT-related compliance for HIPAA standards.
  • Develop SOPs to streamline support processes.
  • Produce documentation for processes and solutions.
  • Other duties as required.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Customer service experience is a must

  • Able to work well in a team and provide knowledge transfer to other team members

Technical Competencies

  • Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Microsoft Windows / Office 365
  • Windows Server 2012+
  • Network Concepts (DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewalls, VPN)
  • Security Operations
  • Disaster recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing


120,000 KSH/Monthly 


Must be available to work certain hours that coincide with U.S. time zones
