Job descriptions & requirements
Our main priority is to find a Master Sofa / Upholstery Technical Lead — not just a normal upholsterer. We need someone who is highly experienced and can:
• Produce high-quality sofas from frame construction to final upholstery
• Develop new sofa designs from a picture, drawing, or concept
• Understand foam shaping, foam density, comfort, and sofa proportions
• Handle fabric cutting, pattern making, sewing, piping, and premium finishing
• Work with genuine leather upholstery
• Supervise sofa production and quality control
• Train and guide other craftsmen
• Lead a sofa production team and help us build a strong production system
Experience as a senior upholsterer, team leader, supervisor, trainer, or sofa production manager would be ideal.
We are also interested in finding a few other experienced sofa craftsmen who can work under the lead person.
The job opportunity is in Tanzania, and the salary/package will be discussed depending on the person’s experience and ability.
