Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the activities of the textile department, furniture department, and sewing department to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Monitor and manage the production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Collaborate with department supervisors to optimize workflow, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements. Establish and maintain performance metrics, regularly tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) Develop production plans and schedules, considering customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and components for production. Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Provide strong leadership and guidance to the manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Recruit, train, and develop employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, logistics and directors to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operations.

Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in business management. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience as an operations Manager in the manufacturing sector preferably textile. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality management systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees. Sound understanding of operational metrics and KPIs, with a track record of driving operational excellence.
