JOB TITLE PACKAGING SUPERVISOR
DEPT HORTICULTURE
JOB SUMMARY.
The employee shall perform duties and responsibility of sorting, grading and packing of fruits, which will be delegated to him /her by line manager.
The position is based on performance with the main deliverables Identified as:
• Fruits sorted, graded and packed as per the customer specification.
• Maintaining the cold chain of fruit to the point of dispatch.
• Proper hygiene of staff and Packhouse is observed.
• Workers observe health, safety and hygiene practices.
• Safe and hygienic keeping of packaging materials.
The candidate to have the following qualifications.
• Degree/diploma /certificate in food science or experience in the related field.
• Good knowledge of pack house operations and BRC certification.
• Flexible and able to work for long hours.
• 1 Years’ experience in the same position.
