Job Description

Egerton University is the oldest institution of higher learning in Kenya. It was founded as a Farm School in by Lord Maurice Egerton of Tatton, a British national who settled in Kenya in the s. In , the School was upgraded to an Agricultural College offering diploma programmes. The Egerton Agricultural College Ordinance was enacted in . In , the Government of Kenya and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded a major expansion of the institution. In , Egerton Agricultural College was gazetted as a constituent college of the University of Nairobi. The following year, , marked the establishment of Egerton University through an Act of Parliament. Egerton University has three Campuses and one Campus College.

Requirements

Applicants  MUST  have the following academic/professional qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Strategic Management or other related fields. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Strategic Management or other related field. Five years’ experience in developing Strategic plans. Excellent oral and written communication skill Working knowledge of public policy planning A minimum of three years ‘progressive experience at the level of Senior Planning Officer, Resources Mobilization or Business Development Officer.
