JOB SUMMARY
RequirementsAt least three (3) years of documented experience operating three-phase/60 Hz diesel engine-driven generators rated at a minimum of 1,000 kW and its associated equipment and systems.Proven knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, with a focus on diesel-driven generators and related power distribution systems.Familiarity with applicable safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a power plant or industrial setting.Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance requirements for the duration of deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervising and overseeing the operation of three-phase/60 Hz diesel engine-driven generators rated at a minimum of 1,000 kW and its associated systems and equipment.Monitoring power plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational protocols, and efficiency requirements.Directing and assigning tasks to power plant personnel to meet operational and maintenance schedules.Developing and implementing procedures to optimize power generation and efficiency while minimizing downtime.Troubleshooting and addressing technical issues related to generator equipment and power distribution systems.Preparing and maintaining documentation for operational activities, maintenance, and compliance audits.Conducting regular inspections and audits of power plant equipment to ensure proper functionality and readiness.Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and technical specifications.Coordinating and communicating with upper management, project leaders, and team members to accomplish power generation goals.
