Job Description/Requirements

PURPOSE:

 

To analyze business processes and identify areas where the businesses can optimize processes and workflows in order to remain competitive in their industry. Process analysts collaborate with departmental heads and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance business processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create end to end process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for process end users.
  • Collect and document of business requirements for process improvement/automation efforts.
  • Facilitate process workflow modeling (workshops) in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases.
  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed-upon service levels.
  • Conduct process risk analysis, identify issues and risks inherent in the processes & propose and implement suitable controls together with respective stakeholders.
  • Conduct training and walkthrough with stakeholders for new and revised processes prior to rollout and implementation
  • Perform post implementation reviews to assess process adoption and realization of intended objectives.
  • Prepare processing incident details and root cause analysis for post-mortem incident reviews.
  • Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of processing data for review.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to relevant policies and procedures including regulatory requirements.


PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field from a recognized institution.
  • Certification in project management or process reengineering is added advantage
  • At least 3 years’ experience as process analyst
  • Thorough knowledge of Banking Operations and application of process workflows
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
