I&M Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of I&M Holdings Limited, a publicly quoted company at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). The bank possesses a rich heritage in banking.

Primary responsibilities:

Develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps for all markets we are in. Ensuring we can answer “why are we doing this” and deliver the vision of the various products. Create and manage product programs that include but not limited to processes, procedures, customer journeys, customer experience standards, all geared towards driving a suite of scalable and profitable products. Develop and be responsible for the various Go-To-Market strategies. Define and track the right Key Performance Indicators and UX & CX strategy for ecosystem partnership products/solutions across all products. Conduct continuous review of our product strategies and stay abreast of industry trends, competition, product performance and product gaps. Build both internal and external stakeholder relationships to position the bank as a collaborative, innovative financial services partner. Stay up-to-date with developments in the financial services industry and related industries, such as fintech and technology, to identify emerging partnership opportunities. Assure effective governance of the unit’s practices in line with the Group policies and service standards. Monitor operational excellence to meet the Audit and Enterprise risk framework of the Group. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as product teams, marketing, legal, and compliance, to ensure that partnerships are aligned with the bank’s overall strategy and that all requirements are met. Continuous demonstration of innovation using data to identify and develop high growth strategic partnerships. Foster continuous learning and job enrichment for high performance.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a business field. At least 10 years’ relevant experience with over four years in senior management in a similar organization or industry. Relevant professional qualifications. Member of a relevant professional body. Experience in digital lending and fintech. Executive disposition and demonstrate high levels of integrity. Strategic and innovative with the ability to sell the vision of the Bank.
