We are looking for a Product Specialist M/F  based : Kenya

Job Description :

To expand the Medtronic range of products through establishing new client base and maintaining existing clients as well as executing various agreed upon marketing activities.

Requested profile :

Key Areas of Responsibilities for the candidate:

Consultative Selling Skills:

Must have effective sales and marketing skills by ensuring that he/she practices the Medtronic ‘Consultative Selling Skills’ model Gains and maintains an acceptable level of knowledge in Consultative Selling Skills

Commercial Issues:

Achieve and exceed the Annual Sales Target as set by the Manager Participate in developing Medtronic STI Sales Targets, Budgets, and commercial plans in conjunction with Laborex & Medtronic Managers Participate in implementing all Laborex & Medtronic commercial activities in line with the budget and as guided by the Managers Deliver ongoing Product In-service/training programs and Operating room scrubs at hospitals as scheduled and required Conduct new product training, demonstrations, and exhibitions at scientific conferences Establish, develop, and maintain close professional relationships with the Key Accounts in his / her markets Assist Laborex & Medtronic on field projects that include market intelligence, surveys, and competitive research Participate in monthly and quarterly business review meetings as scheduled by the manager Establish and develop tendering excellence in his / her markets that includes proper Specifications, Relationships, and Tender Evaluations. Work with major professional medical bodies and national conventions as determined by the company Assist with the implementation of Training and educational activities for HCPs in line with the commercial plan and agreed budget Maintain an updated understanding of all Medtronic EMID & EMD business units

Comply with the Medtronic Code of Conduct, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and local Anti-bribery Laws and regulations.  Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.  Demonstrate honesty and ethical behavior in all areas of responsibility.
