On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent , skilled, and experienced General Manager –Food and Beverage to work in Nairobi, Kenya.
Job Summary :
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, as well as the development and management of outdoor recreation facilities. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the delivery of unparalleled service to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience, business acumen, and expertise in hospitality management, outdoor recreation, health and safety protocols, as well as a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing restaurants in startup environments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in restaurant management, outdoor recreation, and health and safety management. Proven track record of successfully managing multifaceted operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in startup environments. Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Experience in conceptualizing, developing, and managing outdoor recreation facilities, including pedal setups and other recreational activities. Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the food and hospitality industry. Creative thinking and strategic planning abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and drive results. Application procedure:
