Job Summary: The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for the strategic and hands-on oversight of the company’s nursery and farm activities. The role will provide leadership to the operations team while ensuring efficient, compliant, and results-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and providing leadership to the operations team.
  
• Ensuring the company’s operational procedures, policies, and standards are followed.
  
• Developing and implementing operational strategies and action plans to achieve company goals.
  
• Monitoring and analyzing operational data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
  
• Identifying and managing operational risks and developing appropriate contingency plans.
  
• Ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to operations.
  
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, customers, and central and county governments.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
  
• Knowledge of Business Administration or a related field will be a distinct advantage.
  
• Previous experience in a senior operations management role.
  
• Proven track record of delivering results and driving operational excellence.
  
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.
  
• Understanding of financial principles and budget management.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
