ABOUT THE COMPANY

Ramesh Kanji Malde together with his brothers, Anil and Naresh Malde, began Pwani Oil Company production of coconut oil in Mombasa. The operations expanded at the Jomvu Pwani Oil Products factory with corn and sunflower manufacturing before settling for palm oil refining in 1985–a site which Pwani Oil Product are still located at till today.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and monitor refinery processes to ensure efficient production and product quality.Monitor flow meters, product flow, temperatures, vacuum levels, and chemical dosing.Coordinate with Tank Farm personnel to ensure accurate product delivery.Facilitate efficient filtration processes and effective recovery of spillages.Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.Ensure timely sampling and analysis of products.Maintain accurate production records, equipment logs, and quality control data.Coordinate with the Maintenance team to plan machine servicing and ensure equipment availability.Adhere to safety, hygiene, and food safety standards, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, EHS, HR, Soap Plant, and Tank Farm teams to achieve production goals.
