About Job
While this is not yet an open and confirmed position, we would like to engage qualified individuals to apply to be ready when the opening becomes available. The SKU Checker will join the team in ensuring the smooth running of operations across various (warehouses) locations. This role involves checking and verifying the accuracy of stock, ensuring correct storage, verifying picks, doing inventory counts, and producing records for verifications that have been completed. The successful candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and have experience with stock control and inventory management. The SKU checker must be hands-on and comfortable to lift heavy loads when doing the checks.Responsibilities
Check the quality and quantity of goods ordered and compare with system documents as for example the pallet manifest or delivery note. Ensure accurate labeling and tagging of the products before they are shipped out. Conduct quality checks on the products before they are loaded. Maintain accurate records of verifications performed. Collaborate with the Inventory Team to resolve discrepancies or issues found. Actively participate in identifying and resolving any quality assurance issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations. Ensure correct storage of stock Identify and report discrepancies in stock levels Assist in stocktaking and audits Assist in general warehouse activities as requiredRequirements
To be considred for the role, you must be/have:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role Experience in stock control, inventory management or related field Experience with warehouse management systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use computerized systems and Microsoft Office software.
