JOB TITLE SPRAY SUPERVISOR
DEPT HORTICULTURE
JOB SUMMARY.
The employee shall perform duties and responsibility of Spray supervision, which will be delegated to him /her by line manager.
The position is based on performance with the main deliverables Identified as:
• Ensuring the correct product and quantity is applied on the correct block/crop.
• Proper spray coverage.
• Ensure correct PPE is worn
• Spray machine calibration and cleaning.
• Collaboration with field staff and communication to management.
• Good machine maintenance and service.
• Proper record keeping.
The candidate to have the following qualifications.
• Degree/diploma /certificate in Crop Protection or experience in the same field.
• Good knowledge of pests, Diseases and agrochemicals.
• Knowledge in IPM practices.
• Tractor driving license will be an added advantage.
• 1 Year experience in the same position.
