• Collecting and preparing teaching materials;• Conducting laboratory practical’s and demonstrations to undergraduates;• Participating in research activities in the laboratory;• Ensuring that laboratory ware including chemicals, glass and plastic ware and equipment arekept in good order;• Ensuring that laboratory and workshops are kept clean and tidy;• Keeping and maintaining laboratory records;• Receiving, processing and analyzing samples;• Ensuring safe use and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste; and• General laboratory routine.
