Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques (e.g., arc, MIG, TIG welding)
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Prepare materials and surfaces for welding
- Inspect welded structures to ensure quality and strength
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
- Adhere to safety procedures and use protective equipment at all times
- Identify and report faults or defects in materials or finished work
- Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
- Certificate or Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or a related field
Experience
- At least 1–2 years of proven experience as a welder
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments is an added advantage
