Transcription and Translation Services Consultancy

Responsibilities

Produce English transcripts with verbatim documentation of interviews and focus group discussions conducted in English, Swahili or Kamba langagues Verify quality and accuracy of transcriptions Ensure adherence to approved study protocols for transfer, management and confidentiality of research data Return all Audio recordings and transcripts to Jhpiego at the end of the assignment

Required Qualifications

The team members providing transcription and translation services should hold:

At least a Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, community health or development or related field ICT skills will be an added advantage Prior experience in transcription and translation Minimum of three years of expertise in providing verbatim transcriptions of recordings from Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), In-depth Interviews (IDIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). An understanding of Maternal Health is an added advantage

Interested consultancy firms should submit their proposals demonstrating their understanding of the assignment as one continuous document - this should include the technical and financial proposals and resumes of the key team members.
