Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable Transport and Logistics Manager to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. The manager will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

• Direct, optimize, and coordinate full order cycle.

• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.

• Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan vehicle routes, and process shipments.

• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.

• allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs

• work on new supply strategies

• implement health and safety procedures

• liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers

• use existing ERP/ IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs

• Supervise, coach, and train the warehouse workforce.

• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.

Requirements and Skills

Proven working experience as a Logistics officer.

Record of successful distribution and logistics management.

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.

Proficient in standard logistics software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain
