UPS and Generator Technician

Job Description:

As a Technician - Power Backup Systems, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various power backup systems, including UPS systems, inverters, generators, and solar installations. This role involves working closely with customers to ensure reliable energy solutions and collaborating with internal teams for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:

  • Install and configure UPS systems, inverters, generators, solar panels, and other power backup equipment based on technical specifications.
  • Ensure all installations meet relevant safety standards and regulations.

• Maintenance:

  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on power backup systems to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct routine inspections and equipment testing, identifying potential issues before they escalate.

• Troubleshooting and Repair:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues in UPS systems, inverters, generators, and solar installations.
  • Repair or replace faulty components to restore system functionality.
  • Document repair activities and provide detailed reports on issues and resolutions.

• Customer Support:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer technical support and guidance.
  • Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
