Job Description :
To assist the Company Pharmacist in ensuring compliance with pharmacovigilance and other related regulatory processes, in line with the Health Authority’s guidelines and Principal companies.
Requested profile :
The Successful Candidate would handle:
Pharmacovigilance
Liaise with the Principal on all matters related to Pharmacovigilance and other related regulatory matters Training and coaching staff on Pharmacovigilance and other related regulatory matters Prepare PV quarterly reports for submission to the Principal (as per the PVA/SDEA) Prepare other related regulatory progress reports for submission to the Principal (where applicable) Coordinating PV activities/audits in collaboration with the Company Pharmacist, other Laborex Kenya departments and Principals Establish, maintain, update, and operate the internal Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF) Maintain and update the Principals’ PSMF (where applicable) Ensure the quality, correctness, and completeness of PV data submitted to the Health Authority Defining the set of targets and metrics necessary to ensure the effective operation of the PV system and monitoring the performance through those matrices Collection and collation of safety data Submission of PV reports to the Health Authority within the applicable timelines Respond to queries from the Health Authority Providing input into the preparation of regulatory action in response to emerging safety concerns (e.g. sending out Dear HCP letters)Training
Attend/participate/facilitate mandatory and relevant training as scheduled/provided internally and by Principals Maintain the minimum number of CPD points annually as directed by the Health Authority (through the above training or relevant self-directed training)Important Safety Tips
