Chief Finance Officer - Arusha, Tanzania

Our client, engaged in processing of diverse range agricultural products, seek to recruit a Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the finance policies of the company.
• Advise on the most prudent mechanisms for fiduciary management.
• Ensure there are proper financial and accounting controls.
• Advise Directors and the Board on financial implications of business projects.
• Provide input in business planning and product costing.
• Actively manage cash flow, projections and forecasting.
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets.
• Primary interface for all banking, treasury and board-level presentations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualification:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field preferably augmented with an MBA.
• Must have CPA (K) ACCA preferred.
• Must have strong stakeholder management and relationship skills.
• Must have strong financial management and profit maximization skills.
• Strong operational experience in manufacturing and processing entities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial compliance and governance requirements.
• Must have a min of 10 years’ experience in a commercial environment.
• Must be experienced in dealing with cost management and optimization.
• Must have an understanding of private equity fund investor issues.
• Must have strong treasury and cash management background. 

Monthly gross salary: competitive remuneration depending on experience
