Ecobank Kenya (EKE) had an asset base of Kes 94.4 billion as at 31st December 2020. The bank currently has 16 branches, 29 ATMs and over 40 Xpress Point Agents located in different parts of the country. Ecobank has laid great emphasis on digital banking as a means of achieving greater financial inclusion across Africa and also to deliver services in a more efficient and cost effective manner. In 2021, Ecobank Group received an award for “outstanding crisis finance innovations 2021” from the renown Global Finance Magazine. The Group was also named the “Best Bank in Africa 2020” by the African Banker and “Best Bank for Payments and Collections in Africa (2015-2020)” by Global Finance among other awards.
