We hear so much about about vision and mission statements.What exactly do these two terms mean?A mission is  statement that defines the core purpose of the business, organization or brand. A vision statement on the other hand is more specific in terms of both the future state and the time frame, it basically defines what will be achieved if the organization is successful.These two are super important to any organizations as they communicate so much. Here are examples of inspiring mission and vision statements from renowned companies.

Our vision is to be earth’s most customer-centric company; to build a place where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online.

“The ultimate ice cream experience.” This statement sort of makes you think of cold stone ice cream. Even if you’ve had it, you at least want to try it out.

“To make people happy.” We all dream of going to disney world and have fallen in love with Disney movies from the very beginning.

“To organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.” No need to even explain this, it has captured what google does in just one sentence.

“Capture and Share the World’s Moments.” This statement totally agrees with what Instagram do, it makes sense and defines the day to day activities of the brand.

“To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.”We all see our favorite athletes in Nike gears, it is a brand that most us directly associate with sports.

“To be the ultimate house of luxury, defining style and creating desire, now and forever.’’ You think of a luxurious fashion brand, you think Chanel. It’s main  objective is to seek to maintain its legacy and being innovative.

“To refresh the world in mind, body and spirit. To inspire the moments of optimism and happiness through our brands and actions.” When you think of coca cola, you somehow associate it with happiness.This can be seen even in the kind of marketing campaigns done by Coca-cola.

Facebook’s mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected. Facebook is easily the one of the most successful social media platforms that connects us to friends and families.  

FORD.

“We go further to make our cars better, our employees happier and our planet a better place to be.” This is an amazing statement since it also focuses on the employees. Ford goes on to say that it’s dedicated to building great products to strengthen business and benefit communities.

LIFE IS GOOD.

“Spreading the power of optimism. Life is not perfect. Life is not easy. Life is good.”

TOYOTA.

“Toyota will lead the way to the future of mobility, enriching lives around the world with the safest and most responsible ways of moving people.” This also syncs well with the car in front is always a Toyota.
