Job Summary

We are seeking two detail-oriented Accounts Clerks to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidates will be responsible for basic bookkeeping and various administrative tasks. The role requires accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to handle financial transactions and records efficiently.

Job Description/Requirements

Location: Nairobi, Kenya


Key Responsibilities:


 • Bookkeeping:

        ◦ Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.

        ◦ Process invoices, receipts, and payments.

        ◦ Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts.

        ◦ Reconcile Leave Days, apply and Manage accurately 

        ◦ iTax knowledge 


• Administrative Support:

        ◦ Perform general office duties, including filing and data entry.

        ◦ Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting.

        ◦ Handle correspondence and communication with vendors and clients.


• Financial Reporting:

        ◦ Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.

        ◦ Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.



• Compliance and Accuracy:

        ◦ Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures.

        ◦ Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.



• Other Duties:

        ◦ Support the finance team with any additional tasks as needed.

        ◦ Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.



Qualifications:


    • Education: Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A relevant degree is a plus.

    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in basic bookkeeping or accounting roles.



• Skills:

        ◦ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP Business One) and Google Suite.

        ◦ Strong numerical and analytical skills.

        ◦ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

        ◦ Good organizational and time-management skills.



• Personal Attributes:

        ◦ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

        ◦ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

        ◦ Reliable and trustworthy with a high level of integrity
