TRIPLE A ADVOCATES is seeking a capable and commercially astute Advocate of the High Court of Kenya to join its Transactional, Conveyancing & Commercial Law Practice in Nairobi.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate must:
· Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing;
· Have at least 2 years' post-admission experience;
· Hold a valid Practising Certificate for the year 2026;
· Demonstrate strong transactional, conveyancing and/or commercial experience by providing details of three (3) significant matters/transactions handled, with a clear description of the candidate's specific role and key contribution in each;
· Demonstrate strong skills in contract drafting and review, legal due diligence, conveyancing, transactional documentation and legal advisory;
· Have sound knowledge of Kenyan land, conveyancing, company and commercial law;
· Provide at least two referees, comprising one academic referee and one referee from legal practice; and
· Be available to commence on 2 November 2026 and be stationed at the Firm's Nairobi office.
Key Responsibilities
· Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other transactional documentation.
· Conduct legal due diligence and prepare clear reports on findings and risks.
· Handle conveyancing matters, including property searches, transfers, charges, leases and related registrations.
· Advise clients on Kenyan land, company and commercial law, and prepare legal opinions and advisory notes.
· Support clients through transactions from instruction to completion, coordinating with other parties, advocates and regulatory bodies.
· Take instructions, advise clients and keep them updated on the progress of their matters.
· Maintain organized, complete and up-to-date transaction files and records, and diarize key dates and deadlines.
· Work collaboratively with partners, fellow advocates and support staff, and support the supervision of junior team members where required.
