Job Description

The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. of as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.

Job Specification

Duties and Responsibilities will entail assisting in: –

Implementing production plans and activities; Recording of resources allocated to employees; Recording of green tea received and processed; Dispatching of packed tea; and Ensuring that the food and safety standards and regulations are adhered to; Cleaning of the operations floors; Drafting daily production reports; Implementing health and safety requirements in the factory; The packaging of the processed tea; and Carrying out random test and analysis of tea as per standards.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: Diploma in food science or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution Proficiency in computer applications skills
