JOB SUMMARY
RequirementsEssential:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in English Language, Literature, or LinguisticsStrong understanding of English grammar, including parts of speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections), and their functions in sentences.Expertise in sentence structure analysis, including subjects, predicates, objects, and complements.Demonstrated proficiency in sentence diagramming to clarify complex linguistic structures.Proficiency in strong grammatical and semantic analysis to clarify complex linguistic relationships.Excellent analytical and interpretive skills for extracting claims and meaning from complex texts.Prior experience in linguistic, grammatical, and semantic analysis, including resolving ambiguity and handling complex edge cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop basic training materials to support labeler training.Conduct training sessions for labelers and reviewers.Perform periodic quality reviews to ensure labeling compliance with guidelines and address any areas of confusion.Facilitate Q&A sessions with annotators and reviewers.Proactively identify and document edge cases, communicating them to both the client and labelers.Collaborate with project leaders and data managers on labeling quality metrics.
