We are an industrial manufacturing company operating a production facility with a strong focus on efficiency, process optimization, and product quality. We are currently looking for an experienced Automation & PLC Engineer to join our project on a professional services or collaboration basis
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production lines and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and performance improvement.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems to improve line efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Design and implement automation solutions, from concept through execution and commissioning.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, drives, and industrial communication networks into existing systems.
- Optimize process control to improve product consistency and overall quality.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation-related faults on the production line.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure solutions are practical and effective.
- Provide technical documentation and basic training to operators when required.
Required Profile
- Degree or technical qualification in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an automation or PLC engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC programming skills (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or equivalent platforms).
- Hands-on experience implementing automation projects on the factory floor.
- Solid understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, and electrical panels.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Previous experience delivering measurable improvements in production efficiency and/or product quality.
