B2B Sales Executive / Key Account Executive
Job summary
We are hiring five B2B / Key Account Executives to drive institutional and corporate revenue growth. The role involves prospecting, managing full sales cycles, growing key accounts, maintaining CRM discipline, and ensuring compliant, structured commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities1. Revenue & Account Growth
- Identify, prospect, and develop B2B clients within assigned territories or industries.
- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure and payment follow-up.
- Grow assigned accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and repeat order systems.
- Meet and exceed agreed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
2. Key Account Management
- Develop account plans for institutional and corporate clients.
- Map decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
- Maintain professional long-term relationships and structured engagement cadence.
- Conduct regular client review meetings to drive retention and expansion.
3. Commercial & Compliance Discipline
- Ensure proper documentation, quotation accuracy, and contract compliance.
- Maintain CRM discipline: all opportunities logged with next steps and forecasting accuracy.
- Coordinate internally with operations, finance, and logistics to ensure service reliability.
- Support collection processes and manage account receivables responsibly.
4. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing movements, and customer trends.
- Provide structured market feedback to management.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or related field.Minimum 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, account management, or structured commercial roles.Demonstrated experience managing full sales cycles (prospecting → negotiation → closing → follow-up).Experience working with corporate, institutional, or key accounts.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction materials, or related sectors.
- Experience handling contract-based or institutional clients.
- Strong understanding of SLA-driven customer management.
- Existing professional network within corporate or institutional markets.
Compensation
- Probation Period Salary: Net KES 20,000 – 40,000 (fixed).
- Post-Probation: Salary structure will be reviewed and aligned to performance, revenue contribution, and company growth.Performance-based incentives may apply.
