Bids & Tendering Officer
Job Summary
We seek to hire a highly organized & detail oriented (2) Bids and Tendering Officers to work with us in our Mombasa based office. The role holder will be tasked with preparation of tender documents and following through the entire tendering process among other duties that might arise.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Tracking of available tender opportunities through available means and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work
- Timely support various EOIs, RFQ’s and Tenders, ensuring they are properly administrated, compliant with the clients requirements and within company’s own systems and processes, providing high-quality, consistent support
- Proofreading prepared technical and commercial bids before submitting to identify unnecessary flows
- Replying swiftly to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted
- Any other duty that may be assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma in Business/Project Management or related field
- Degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
- Experience in preparation of tender documents
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple challenging deadlines in a busy environment, remaining calm and composed in potentially stressful situations
- Pro-active & flexible approach to work: ability to work on own initiative
- Ready to learn and adhere to instructions
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Editing and proof-reading skills & high level of accuracy
- Team working skills
- PC Skills in word, excel, Ifmis, email, adobe acrobat, Corel draw and paint
- Good office Filing Skills i.e. hard and softcopy files
- Ready to work beyond normal working time occasionally
