Bookkeeper
Job summary
Bookkeeper (Between 8am-5pm EST Timezon) Skymount Property Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires strong organizational skills, bookkeeping expertise, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. Experience in U.S. Real Estate or Construction bookkeeping and handling 1099 forms is a big plus.

What it takes to succeed:
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills to work with both Skymount and external stakeholders
- Solid bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally with real estate or construction exposure
- Minimum 1-2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience required
- QuickBooks Certification (required) and advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting systems
- Familiarity with classes and projects in QuickBooks (a huge plus)
- Self-discipline, excellent time management, and resilience under deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset: not just entering numbers, but identifying issues, proposing solutions, and supporting leadership
- Ability to work at least 6 out of 8 hours daily on the night shift (between 8am - 5pm EST)
- Confidence in working independently while collaborating effectively with the team
- Experience handling 1099 reporting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions with accuracy
- Maintain and reconcile accounts, ledgers, and bank statements
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Generate financial reports to support decision-making
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance and smooth operations
- Keep clean, well-organized financial records
- Support audits and tax preparation when needed
