BUSINESS COORDINATORLocation: Nairobi (Hybrid)Employment Type: Full-TimeCareer Stage: Early CareerAbout Ella MayElla May is a Corporate Concierge and solutions partner that helps organizations build stronger business relationships through thoughtful engagement, collaboration and meaningful experiences.As a growing business, we're looking for someone who's curious, resourceful and enjoys turning ideas into action.About the RoleWe're looking for an organized, resourceful and naturally curious Business Coordinator to workclosely with the Founder in supporting the day-to-day running and growth of the business.This role is for someone who enjoys figuring things out, connecting the dots and bringing structure to moving parts. You'll coordinate projects, conduct research, organize information, support business relationships and help ensure important initiatives move forward.We're open to candidates at an early stage of their careers who can demonstrate initiative, curiosity and strong organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate client projects and day-to-day business activities.Research companies, industries and business trends to support informed decision-making.Build and maintain organized databases, business records and project documentation.Coordinate meetings, follow-ups and ensure agreed actions are completed.Support communication with clients, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders.Assist in preparing presentations, proposals and other business materials.Identify gaps, flag issues early and help keep projects and business initiatives moving.Who We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate:Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out.Takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments.Is organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.Can research unfamiliar topics, think critically and present information clearly.Communicates professionally, both verbally and in writing.Is proactive, dependable and comfortable working in a growing business where priorities can evolve.QualificationsTertiary level education in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.Experience in coordination, client service, research or business support is an advantage.How to ApplyIn the body of your email, please include what stood out to you about this opportunity, and why you believe you'd thrive in this role.We're interested in the quality of your thinking, not the length of your responses.
