The business development assistant shall be responsible for driving business growth within the company. He/she will develop a network of contacts to attract and establish new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects in order to generate revenue for the company.

Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, contacting, nurturing, and closing deals by providing local insights - Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and competitors in the local market that might be a threat to the success of the company brand.
Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products to help in pitching to the prospective clients.
Research and identify new business opportunities including new opportunities: new markets, growth opportunities, trends, customers, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Keep in touch with potential clients seeking information on the products and services the company offers.
Develop and manage strategies to grow market share .
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS.
Proven work experience as a business development assistant or equivalent
Good market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport with potential customers.
Degree in Business or any relevant field
Tenacity and drive to seek new and meet targets.
Decision making, negotiation and organizational skills ,
Great Customer Service skills
Identify prospect leads.
Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
