CORE POSITION OUTCOMES
This position has the overall responsibilities of:
1. Under the guidance of Chief Operations Officer generate and qualify new business opportunities for TUME Consulting through market research, networking, and lead generation activities. Meet agreed monthly lead generation and prospecting targets.
2. Support TUME's business development and marketing initiatives by preparing proposals, presentations, and promotional materials. Ensure timely submission of high-quality client-facing documents.
Enhance TUME Consulting's market visibility and brand presence through digital marketing, client engagement, and networking activities. Contribute to growth in awareness and client engagement metrics.
4. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date business development pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up of prospects and opportunities. Achieve established conversion and activity targets.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Brand Development Intern is responsible and accountable for the following key job elements:
· Conduct market research to identify prospective clients, industry trends, and emerging business opportunities.
· Develop and maintain a database of prospects, client contacts, and business opportunities.
· Support lead generation activities through telephone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and networking events.
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-up engagements with prospective clients.
· Assist in preparing proposals, capability statements, presentations, and bid documents for prospective and existing clients.
· Support the promotion of TUME Consulting services and maintain accurate records of all business development activities and update opportunity tracking tools and CRM systems.
· Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports highlighting pipeline status, opportunities, and conversion rates.
· Support the development and management of marketing content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
· Participate in client meetings and prepare meeting minutes, action trackers, and follow-up schedules.
· Conduct competitor analysis and provide market intelligence reports to support strategic decision-making.
· Assist in organizing client engagement forums, webinars, networking events, and business development campaigns.
· Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners.
· Remain abreast of developments within the Human Resource Consulting, Recruitment, Leadership Development, and Business Advisory sectors.
