Strobell Africa Limited is looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in business growth, client relationship management, tendering, proposal preparation, and strategic partnerships, preferably within the construction, engineering, real estate, or technical services sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and manage client and partner relationships
- Prepare proposals, EOIs, prequalification documents, and tender submissions
- Drive lead generation and revenue growth
- Support branding, market positioning, and strategic expansion
- Coordinate with technical teams to develop winning solutions
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 4–7 years’ relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing
- Experience in construction, engineering, consultancy, or infrastructure is highly preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Good understanding of the Kenyan market
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
