Job descriptions & requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive business development, customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Manage lending and credit portfolios, ensuring quality and sustainable growth.
- Monitor portfolio quality, arrears and debt recovery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME and commercial customers.
- Drive Trade Finance and Import Finance business.
- Provide working capital and business financing solutions to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships.
- Leverage data and technology to enhance portfolio monitoring and recovery.
- Achieve business, lending, revenue and recovery targets.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics or a related field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in banking, microfinance or financial services.
- Strong experience in lending, credit, business development and debt management/recovery.
- Practical experience in Trade Finance and Import Finance.
- Proven ability to manage portfolios and deliver business and recovery targets.
- Experience in debt collection and recovery will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, relationship management and communication skills.
