POSITION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & TENDER OFFICER
KEY ROLE OBJECTIVE
The role holder will be responsible for:
- Driving constant client acquisition
- Identifying and closing new business opportunities
- Hunting and winning tenders (public and private sector)
- Building strategic partnerships
- Expanding company market share across Kenya
- Increasing revenue through aggressive sales execution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
- Conduct cold calls, field visits, and corporate presentations
- Convert leads into long-term contracts
- Build strong sales pipelines across multiple service lines
2. Tender Management & Proposal Writing
- Monitor tender portals, newspapers, and procurement notices
- Prepare, submit, and manage tender documentation
- Develop competitive proposals, quotations, and bid responses
- Ensure compliance with all tender requirements and deadlines
- Coordinate pricing with operations and finance teams
3. Corporate Sales & Revenue Growth
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Upsell and cross-sell company services
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Expand revenue from existing clients
4. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct regular client follow-ups and reviews
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention
- Handle renewals and contract extensions
5. Market Expansion & Partnerships
- Identify new market segments and territories
- Build partnerships with property managers, developers, and institutions
- Drive brand visibility and market penetration
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
The role is strictly performance-based and will be measured on:
- New contracts won per month
