CAMP MANAGER | MAASAI MARA

Our client, a well-established hospitality operation based in the Maasai Mara, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Camp Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the camp while maintaining excellent guest experiences and high operational standards.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• People Management: Lead, supervise, motivate and coordinate camp staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional guest experiences, handle guest requests and complaints professionally, and maintain high standards of hospitality.
• Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of camp facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional and presentable.
• Coordinate daily camp operations and ensure all departments work effectively together.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
• Ensure camp policies, procedures and health and safety standards are followed.
• Manage staff schedules and support effective team performance.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and operational issues.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should have:

• Proven experience in camp, lodge, hotel or hospitality management.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of facilities and operational management.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems and make sound decisions.
• A hands-on approach and ability to work in a remote hospitality environment.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
