Our client is looking for a capable and organised Care Taker who will ensure the property's shared spaces remain clean, safe, and fully functional. The Care Taker should be able to handle routine upkeep, perform minor repairs, and monitor building systems to preserve property value and enhance the residents' quality of life

Job descriptions & requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Coordinates cleanliness and disinfection of lobbies, hallways, elevators, bin area and stairwells.
- Maintain laundry rooms, mailrooms, and trash disposal areas.
- Ensure outdoor common areas (parking lots, walkways, playgrounds) are clean and hazard-free.
Maintenance & Minor Repairs
- Replace light bulbs, unclog drains, and perform basic handyman tasks.
- Report major repair needs (plumbing, electrical, structural) to management.
- Assist with seasonal upkeep (snow removal, leaf clearing, landscaping).
Safety & Security
- Conduct routine inspections for fire hazards, broken equipment, or security risks.
- Monitor entry points and report suspicious activity.
- Ensure emergency exits and lighting are functional.
Tenant Support
- Respond to resident requests regarding common area issues.
- Assist during move-ins/move-outs with inspections and minor fixes.
- Enforce community rules (noise, trash disposal, pet policies).
Record-Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain logs of cleaning, repairs, and supply inventory.
- Notify management of recurring issues or needed upgrades.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Physical Ability: Capable of climbing ladders, and working outdoors in all weather.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Dependable, proactive, and able to interact professionally with residents.
- Availability: Willingness to work weekends/on-call for emergencies if required.
