JOB SUMMARY
For appointment to this grade, an officer musthave: -a) A Minimum of Higher National Diplomain Medical Laboratory Science from an institution recognized by the KenyaMedical Laboratory Technologist and Technician Board (KMLTTB)b) A Registration certificate issued byKenya Medical Laboratory Technologist and Technician Board (KMLTTB)c) A two (2) year working experience inthe relevant field, must be well conversant in Microbiology, Parasitology,Hematology, Histology and Immunohematology practicals.d) Proficiency in computer applicationse) Good communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Prepare learning materials and carryout instructions and guide learners during practical lessonsb) Supporting Medical Laboratoryservicesc) Maintaining Medical Laboratoryrecords d) Sorting, stocking and monitoringinventorye) Complying with rules, regulationsand procedures to help maintain a clean and safe Medical Laboratoryf) Any other duties assigned by theimmediate supervisor or authorized personnel
